Entry #37

I named my image "Last check before delivery"

It was done with Daz Studio Iray renderer. Post processing in On1 Photo Raw.

The scene was inspired by stories we all heard of Santa, when we were really young.

Personally , I always thought about what happened up there at the North Pole, where Santa was supposed to reside and actually where the toys were built. So I tried to depict that moment when Santa is about to begin his epic Christmas delivery... And I wanted to place Santa and his master toy maker doing a final check on things in an old fashioned workshop cabin, lit only by old oil lamps, creating that warm, cozy environment in contrast with the freezing cold of the North.

I took me about a week to complete the scene, as I paid particular attention to tuning all the materials and lights to my own taste and liking. I let it render for 10 hours finalizing with some minor post work, mostly color correction and cleanup.  I enjoyed a lot making it and I hope you enjoy watching it.

A very Merry Christmas to all !!!
