This one minute animation was done in Carrara, working off and on (mostly off) for a month or so.  Some FX were done in Particle Illusion.  I've always been a fan of the "Age of Sail", plus I get inspiration by all the great models available from Renderosity and DAZ.  Dante78, Renapd, Faveral. Jack tomalin, great quality at affordable prices.
