Something bumped in the dark, startling their feeding and putting her in full fright mode to stop anybody coming closer.  Things nightmares are made of for things made of nightmares.

I think monsters can be frightened too.

Actually took several days and renders to get this how I wanted it.  I'd guess about 36 hrs total.
