Entry #8

What you see here in this image is the bakery, which is part of "Nonke Buusjke", the only open-air museum of its kind in the Netherlands.
This museum illustrates 100% the farm life as it was in the year 1900 in South Limburg (where I live now).

A historic gem that is unique to the Netherlands. It fosters a collection of South Limburg half-timbered houses and workplaces from the beginning of the last century. The centerpiece is the completely restored half-timbered farmhouse. Around this the outbuildings, such as this bakery here.

I edited this photo with a sort of sketch filter, because I thought it would do justice to the old Limburg
half-timbered house-building, plus the old days, in which life was still dominated by old traditions, and this in honor loved.

Even though it was hard work at the time, it was also a time of great satisfaction, something that is almost non-existent in the modern day.

Here, in the Nonke Buusjke, it sais: the virtue of simplicity becomes increasingly cleaner as the madness of our prosperity rises. ;-)
