My inspiration comes from: Dora Maar, image ‘Untitled (Hand-shell), uit 1934'.
Dora Maar, aka Henriette Theodora Markovitch (Tours, November 22, 1907 - Paris, July 16, 1997) was a French photographer and painter, who also became known as Pablo Picasso's mistress and muse.
Her father was of Croatian descent and her mother was French. She herself grew up in Argentina and France. From May 1931 she calls herself Dora Maar. She became famous as a photographer and later also started painting. She made advertising and fashion photography for clients such as Le Figaro illustré, applying surreal techniques - such as photo collages, photo montages and photograms - in commercial photography.
