This image is called "Dark Concoctions". The aim was to make the concoction glow and that was done with some atmospheric help from the Cinematic FX lighting package. This was a quick scene to put together, about 1 hour to load everything and do a dforce simulation, but it took about 5 hours to render to get to an acceptable point. I had to use Denoiser v2.4 to get rid of some of artifacts and smooth the image a bit. Post work done in Photoshop and GRFX.
