The Femme-fatale is a stock character in the film noir genre; here she is at the denouement of the movie. All of her machinations are disclosed and she is cast out into the dark streets in the driving rain. But watch out...isn't that a gun on the ground next to her?

I love the imagery in these old films and the beautiful dangerous women that inhabited them.
