Al-Abrash House

Syria, Damascus, the white bridge... There was a rich man named "Khaled Al-Abrash" who lived in this house in peace, and when he died, he buried himself under this house. When his children and grandchildren re-built the house, they made the sewage water pass over him, Khaled got angry, and swore that he would not let anyone live in the house without hurting him. Since that time, the house has been haunted by jinn who do not allow anyone to live in this house... A long time ago, an elderly couple lived in the house with an old cat. One night, the old woman changed the TV channel they were watching. The cat raised its head and said, “Why did you change it?” The couple ran away quickly from the house. In 1997, two Russian experts came to find out the secret of this house. After their first day in the house, one of them came out screaming hysterically and the other was found dead inside the house. Many other popular stories and tales are told about the house, some of them say that whoever sleeps in the house in the evening wakes up in the morning lying on the sidewalk, or whoever enters the house comes out severely beaten without a reason from the “jinn” who lives in the house. It has been more than 30 years and this house is still deserted and no one can live in it.
