Chess With The Devil

The devil was a very good chess player.  When he offered me an escape from my sentence to hell, which I had definitely earned, as a prize for beating him at a game of chess, no draws ... what choice did I have?  The game went on to this last position, my move.  It looked like a certain draw, with me going straight to hell.  The devil had wandered off to celebrate while I looked miserably at the position.  Then ...
