Space Santa

There's a whole short story in my mind behind this one; a child of researchers, far from Earth, asking how Santa will be able to find them, so far from home. A Space Marine commander, overhearing; a platoon, from engineers to biologists, tasked with sourcing a tree that can be "seen from orbit - you heard me, Sargeant." A bit of holiday magic, sprinkled in - and a bit of navigation from a local guide.
