A feel for the noseart of WW2 based upon the Tuskegee Airmen, I came across a wartime reference to a nurse of the Tuskegee Airmen named Della J. Bassette and I was inluenced to create the following piece - may i just say, this is not really Della, I just utilised her name, but love and respect to her and all those who gave their lives - may your memories live on.
