Something true

Delfina was a girl many liked, with green eyes and dark blond hair. She married very young, by family decision, as it happened in those times. She had eight children, then was widowed and went to live with one of her brothers. When she lived in that house, she had a dream one night: a voice told her, "Tear down the wall and take what is there." She paid no attention to that dream and did nothing. Some time later, the whole family moved to a new home and the old one was sold. Some more time passed and the buyers of the old house suddenly became rich.... Delfina remembered the dream and told her brother, who told her, "Those people found a treasure that was meant for us! That's what you did by not telling me!"  And that was how they remained poor.
  Sometimes we don't believe what we don't understand, but it's better to put some doubts in our minds.
  This is a true story and Delfina was my great-grandmother.
