whew, I think I started working on this the day it was announced, and have spent the full time just trying to get it the way I wanted it to look. I've always like the BlackHawk Howard Chaykin series, and even BlackHawk's appearance in "Kingdom Come". The final style of my image was inspired by both the WW2 era War propaganda and today's designs. Sort of the same feel as the movie "Blade Runner" The plane was the clincher for my entire image... thanks to BLBarrett for making available months ago in the marketplace... as soon as I saw it I thought about making a BlackHawk image with it, and now I finally had the excuse to do it. So this is my tribute to a great under used and under appreciated DC Comics Character, I hope you enjoy it. PS: You don't know how hard I fought with myself just to make a "Chop Chop" image instead, in his full non Politically Correct glory.
