Bryce Forum's September Challenge - "A Page From History"

Stonehenge was built in several phases over approximately 4000 years. The main features of the first phase were a ditch and bank and a number of holes for timber posts. Another phase was a new round of holes with timbers, along with the massive Trilithons, followed by a circle of Sarsen stones. This image is of the first Trilithon built, and its very first Midsummer's dawn. Good luck to all entrants! Tres
