In August 480 B.C. Persians, under King Xerxes, invaded Greece with 2.000.000 soldiers of army and navy. They attacked Greeks at the narrow pass at Thermopylae. After two days of hard fight, a traitor named Efialtis, led the Persians around the pass behind the Greek army. The Spartan King Leonidas, fought to the death with his 300 Spartans and 700 Thespiis.
