This is based on the Ulm Pishkun not too far from where I lived. Prior to 1600, this is how the Plains Indians hunted buffalo. The runner on the right would lure the buffalo toward the cliff (a dangerous job), while other hunters would start a stampede. Over the edge they all went. With luck, the runner lived and the tribe had meat and leather for the winter.
