"I think he wants to spread the word to maximum people and selling them will cut down on how many people go to his site." Perhaps. But, if you read, the company he took to court is "gone". Also, according to his site he says, "I made the textures published on this website before the creation of Rebel Act Studios and I have the copyright of these textures because I did this work as freelance for this Company." So, it seems to me he could sell them if he wanted to. "It costs me over $200 dollars a year just to give away my free sample pack" I spend $200 a year for a website that is nothing but a family site...viewed by about 10 people. I guess people spend money on a site for people to benefit from for different reasons. I'm sorry if I offended anyone by suggesting this person try to find a way to make some money from his textures. I know other people do a LOT of stuff for free. I appreciate them. I suspect it makes them feel good to be a benefit to so many others...and perhaps that is payment enough. But IF a person has a talent that could earn money (IMHO), I try to suggest to that person to pursue it. I've said it to plenty of people (most recently, Dalinese, Moebius87, dialyn, and, though she won't answer me...LOL...linwhite). I don't know what your textures look like or how good they appear to be. But, if they are good and useful, I wouldn't see anything wrong with trying to earn money from them. Again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my suggestion that things that are of good quality should be investigated as a sale item. Some people are hobbyists. Some are professional. Some are hobbyists who hope to become professional. For the last group I mentioned, I provide encouragement.
