First came the Pines of Bryce. Now the Broadleaves of Bryce are complete - almost one year in the making. Last time each tree cost $10.00. This time the 10 new trees come as a complete downloadable pack for $50.00 - this time each tree is only $5.00. The pack includes the much sought-after Weeping Willow, Aspen, Birch, Rhododendron (bush) and a host of others. As in the last set - I've created custom DTE bark textures that match the real tree for color and texture. These textures are perfect for a hero tree in the foreground of your scene and they hold detail very close to the camera. This is a group shot of the collection you can find out more at: http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=15881 Also if you have b3 or b4 and can't use the trees - right now is a great time to upgrade to b5 for only $99.00! B5 is a great price, and the treelab using my pre-made trees is the best reason to get b5 if you don't have it already. Happy forestation! Scott

Hi, Even using your tree pack, there is no way to export these out of Bryce, is there?

scotttucker3d ( ) posted Sat, 21 December 2002 at 5:29 PM

Thanks rayraz. Unfortunately no, dampeoples. They only work in Bryce5 - but like I said b5 is on sale right now at Corel and for those of us who use it everyday it is a fine program. If you can add it to your arsenal b5 is worth it - just ask anyone on this forum. Scott

I have B5, it is nice. I was just looking for a way to export trees. The tree druid for Carrara doesn't seem to be released for OS X yet, so I suppose I'll just wait :)

Yeah I hear ya. But Tree Druid trees don't look nearly as good as b5 trees. I have TD standalone which I run in VirtualPC, but those files don't look as detailed as Bryce trees. Pretty good for making bare trees sometimes. I wonder if they will enhance TD before they port it to OSX? Scott

Thanks for the TD tip, That's too bad they don't look as nice, as that seems to be the only other option that I have. I emailed Zenstar once and asked about Thor and TD, and he mentioned that one was ready, just not listed on the web yet, but this has been a long time ago, he's either lazy or putting the final touches on it ;)
