And an apology doesn't fix it, for me. Why not reinstate the poll, if it's just a mistake? You haven't really addressed the issue here, Scott--all you've done is offer up excuses. "Conspiracy!!!!CONSPIRACY!!!! YIKES!!!!" Whatever. Anyone that's been here for a while will tell you that the admins have a long and undistinguished history of clumsy, arbitrary responses to anything that smacks of uprising among the rabble. I help to support this site through my MP purchases, I generally enjoy the site and I have a legitimate interest in asking that it be managed in a fair, even-handed and responsive manner. I'd welcome some input from someone with some official standing at this point in the discussion--their absence from these threads is both telling and disappointing.
