Go to your system tools in your start menu and select system information, from there go to tools and run some diagnostics. It more or less sounds like there's a conflict with either drivers or dll files. I use 98SE and sometimes its the OS with corrupt files or drivers that cause problems that Scandisk and other things don't pick up right away. Sometimes installing a program can even do that to them, so I'd check to see what's up with your OS first ... I hope this helps! DR
