Depending on where the subject lies I use different focal lengths. For portraits I've been using 110 for a while and it works pretty good for me. I might have to try 105 once and see if it makes that much of a difference. :) Reading the link now.
Remember...getting lost is the senic route to the eventual destination. (And a lot prettier than the straight road)
