ooh! i think it looks cool! (and seems to work nicely.) not realistic, sure, but cool nonetheless. you can 'fix' the hip by hitting ctrl-i and turning off the bend properties for it. then it won't, well, bend, obviously. :) of course, then you could have some trouble with the legs poking through it.
