It's not recreating the pose that was difficult, it's making the figure match in scale with the given image as a background so comparing them would be on a more equal playing field. Longer limbs or torsos don't line up when posed similarly so comparing them is not very precise. I don't know why you'd even ask such a question anyway if not to be rude and impertinent.
