Incidentally, using different Codecs doesn't make a whole lot of difference in the render time, so don't worry too much about that. Best method is to consider the "Display Settings' to be a "draft" for quick testing, then when you have everything the way you want it, switch to "Render Settings" for final run.

Apparently I'm missing something very important, with creating an animation within Poser 4. The problem I have, is that when the AVI is rendered, only the UN-Rendered figure shows up. With each keyframe, I rendered the figure, but still yet, when viewing the finished movie the unrendered version is all that is seen. What is the trick to having the RENDERED figure show up in the animation? Also, when making the movie, it asks which compressor to use ~ giving the options of: Intel Indeo(R)VideoR3.2 Cinepak Codec by Radius VDONet VDO Wave (????) what the heck ???? Microsoft Video 1 Microsoft RLE Indeo Video 5.04 Intel 263 Video Driver 2.55.01 Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec (that is listed 3 times) Microsoft H.263 Video Codec Microsoft H.261 Video Codec Full Frames (uncompressed) Now it seems to initially or by default pop up and want you to use Microsoft Video 1 ~ which is what I used, but without successful results on the movie. I started to try the Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec, and I think that might have taken till next week to render the frames and make the movie, so I aborted that mission. Can someone maybe shed some light on this, and perhaps Im just missing an important simple step and using the wrong codec ??? I do have the finished movie if you wanna see that just email me. (but its just that ugly unrendered thingy) HEEEEEELLLLLLlPPPPPP!!!!!
