Stars: Turn the stars on in the skylab. The higher the density, the more stars. You have to make sure that the stars are not blocked out by clouds or haze. If the clouds are not transparent enough the stars won't show through them. If the haze is to strong the stars will be hard to see. Also stars show best at night. All just as in real life. Sun/moon: First make sure that the sun and/or moon are visible using the skylab. Then alter the placement of the sun/moon. If the sun/moonlight is comming from behind the camera the sun/moon is behind the camera. Thus you will not see it. Place the sun/moon in front of the camera and voilthey are visible in your image. You can check out the settings of default sky's with sun or moon visible, to see at wich angles the sun is visible.
