Thanks for reposting rayraz. Here's the idea again: Hey everyone, I have noticed lately that we have had some new breaks with animation, as well as development of a bryce online network rendering system. So how about we do a collaborative animation, in which we think of a theme, and then each person develops a short animated sequence. Then we pass around the files until everything is rendered. Then we kick it to editing and sounds people and stick it together into one kick-a$$ animation. I think it would be great because it would expose more people to bryce animation and also would give everyone a part in a big milestone even if they don't have that much time to work on it. And I'm not talking about just 5 or six people. We really need at least 12 components to make the movie realistic and fun. We would first decide the theme IN DETAIL. Then people would sign up for what section they want (introduction, middle, conclusion, etc) then we storyboard to make sure each person's segment fits with its neighbors. It will be like making a small film! I know we can really come up with some great content! The diversity of bryce will allow us to incorperate sci-fi, fantasy, abstract, and other styles into one amazing animation. What do you think?
