I have just installed Bryce 3D rev 3.1 on my new computer which runs Windows XP. Everything seems to work ok except the Create.. Edit and Sky/Fog dropdown menu`s wont stay open, they just flash on then off when you click on the small arrow, making it impossible to make a selection....it renders ok as i have opened a past scene and rendered that with no problems only difference being that it took a fraction of the time.......does anyone have any ideas on how to cure this problem

I sometimes have this problem but I find that if I right click the arrow instead of left click the menu opens and stays open. The only difference though is that I use Bryce 5. HTH Catlin

I had that problem with B3d. I found that I just had to click/release really fast to get it to stick. You might try slowing down the mouse in the control panel, although I don't know that that last will work. - TJ

Hi I've noticed something along the same lines I use autocad and if I boot bryce after Ive been using it this always happens to the menus. usually have to reboot to get the menus back to normal. this is with bryce 4 not sure if it does it with 5

Not so much as with B3d ,but occasionally it's still a (minor) problem.
