I have mixed up cat/dogs (or maybe they're dog/cats). I rescued a tiny kit, and my old collie adopted it. In his term when we got a new pup, the cat brought it up and taught it all sorts of things. He is now doing the same with my new pup, who gets very frustrated when Tiggy climbs trees and looks down at him and laughs. Tiggy also comes for walks with the dogs, and shows them how to catch mice.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."
