I am really happy with each succeeding generation of POSER, including the most recent. Two items for your consideration and advice. Poser Gurus please comment. 1.) Briefly, my plan is to use segments I generate in Poser on my g4Mac with Final Cut/CommotionPro etc. So now I have images I'm generating on my p4PC and moving to my mac since Final Cut is not on the pc and poser5 is not onthe mac. Final ouput is DVD. Any other strategies that don't require a big output in software cost and yet can achieve similar effects? 2.) I am a goofy old dude to start with and the confusion that i've engendered by adding directories and various software and zips back to metacreations freestuff has added to my new poser5 installation. But when I couldn't find "female character" and male character" faces in the Poser 5 directory I went to the reference manual to see if I had overwritten anything or with the face room it was not needed. Could one of the programmers please post the directory as it comes out of the box so i can see what i did? Or failing that, can I make a clean install on another drive without it complaining or shutting down? MAHALO FOR ANY HELP!

  1. not without spending large cash that I know of. (adobe premeire and after effects are both good apps but not low cost) 2) not positive, but poser 5 characters may be the directory. you could always try adding a character to the libraries and then searching poser 5 directory structure for that specific file. ( use a really odd name like holy_shit_hanna then search for holy_shit_hanna.cr2 ) that would tell you what directory to browse for the specific characters.

thanks jacqui, but there must be a set directory structure that you start with when it is just "out of the box". I can see what I have easily now with windows explorer and I can observe changes...but what i want to know is what I started with..see what i mean?
