I would like to point out however that though you say that you planned on working out the damaged CD return policy details later, when I contacted Lipsinc regarding this, the very opposite was indicated to me: "Mr. Rabinowitz - I understand your concern about the CD but we had to come up with a copy protection method and we decided this would be the least cumbersome of several possible options. That means that you will need to protect the CD from damage and abuse. Should the CD become damaged you would be responsible for purchasing a replacement." The above indicated a very different return policy than the one you are working on. It is for this reason I have been posting these messages. I'm glad to know it was all a misunderstanding, and that you will be backing up your product. I think mimic is a wonderful product. I just want to protect my investment.
