I'm in the same boat Dodger. Too much management experience and education to be hired as a low wage worker. They look at me and say "what are you kidding"? And not quite able to compete with the CEO job hunters. It seems like we would have been better off not making something out of ourselves. And just swung a mop for a living. I could live OK on $10.00hr. But I can't seem to find that here in Upstate NY. Isn't that nuts? I was in charge of a large national food plant for several years. It's just unbelievable to me that people like us can't find work.....It's just crazy. These are definately scary times for many of us. Best of luck to you on your quest to survive. ScottA
