To me, the most prominent feature of the model are also the worst parts. The hip-shoulder ratio looks significantly off, and the eyes are strangely sloped. If I'm doing a full figure, I notice the overly wide shoulders immediately. If I'm doing a face shot, those eyes bug the hell out of me. Yeah, V1 wasn't that great out of the box, but I waited until people started playing with her before buying her myself, and even out of the box, there were some obvious advantages over Posette. By the time most people get P5, they've already gotten Vicki, so there isn't as much inclination to use Judy. New users come in and see mostly posts about Vicki, so they run over and get her, then let Judy slide. Vendors see everyone buying Vicki products, so they make more Vicki products. With mostly Vicki products available, everyone Judy slides even more. It's a bit of a circle, really.
