Boba Fett is the clone (whom he considers a son) of Jango Fett. In the Star Wars universe android is usually understood to mean the same as robot (hence, 'Droids). In most other sci-fi I've read, it usually means a robot made to simulate a human (think Data of Star Trek). Haven't seen Episode II yet, have you? :^)
