compilor You are correct - dresses like these would not be made of printed fabrics. These are of an upper class style and would be embroidered, or made of woven patterns (damask). A peasent would have painted or printed fabric, and those only on special days. The middel texture is the most accurate, but might also have a wide band of embroidery around the hem and wrists. Lyrra
