I still use RD 5.5 for some of the third party plug-ins that aren't available in C yet and then import to C for final. The render quality is much nicer in Carrara and the lighting issues and shader capabilities are more robust in C. Carrara has a couple of bugs but so does RD. I can't address the bones stuff. Is that tutorial on-line? I've been using the constraints functions for kinematics. Is that how you do it? The Carrara interface is different but similar (more like Poser and Bryce if you have those programs). Had to look around for features that I new the location of in RD. It takes a bit to get used to it but becomes second nature pretty quickly. Mark
