Technically, a software maker (and that includes 3d meshes) cannot restrict you from making a backup copy, or from reselling your legally purchased copy of said software, so long as it is removed entirely from your posession in any and all forms. This includes updates, etc... (so if you purchased V3 of Poser, for instance - and paid the upgrade price for Poser4, you cannot legally sell your copy of Poser3). The Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA) is threatening to severely restrict consumers' rights with regard to software purchase and licensing in the U.S. If you haven't heard about UCITA before, read about it here: http://www.macintouch.com/ucita.html If you live in the U.S., contact your legislators and let them know what you think of UCITA. -sk
