Existing CR2 ... OK. There may be preset bends still in it. Try this:-

• Load just the dress.
• Turn IK's off if there are any in it.
• Go to Window/Joint Editor and zero figure.
• Set hip and BODY translations and rotations to zero.
• Go to Edit/Memorize/Figure.
• Save the dress back to the library.

That should fix it.
