Re: Shrek models. you'd be surprised, Even tho they run on SGIs, the Pentiums and AMDs have managed to narrow the performance gap, so having a 2GHz P4 or something like that would see you through as far as horsepower is concerned. Thanks for the info on V3. Reason why I asked was to see if it's worth upgrading... but I realise I haven't fully explored V2 yet, plus there's the need to get new clothes for V3... I think I'll stick with my investments for now. Re: the bad joints and poses, I agree. I'm an artist myself so I'm really sensitive about all this. makes me frustrated when I'm posing the figures. Not easy to get natural looking poses, and the inelsticity of the Poser figures don't help. That's why I'm dreaming (fantasising) of a Shrek-like modeller/renderer program. I notice the "twisting" effect on V3's left shoulder. Several people have mentioned this "effect". And, of course, the high poly count just gobbles up RAM and slows down the system...
