Ahh, right you are. I admit that I didn't notice this when I tried it, probably because I was paying more attention to texture detail and hoping it would improve. Also something I forgot to mention is that unfortunately I don't have this "Bryce" that is so frequently mentioned, or any other 3D programs for that matter.
