In the mean time we are using the site the way it was set up- we are in the team feedback and site forum, expressing our feedback. No one is "setting policy" here- that can only be done by the admins shrug Now, if they choose to use anything discussed here then i personally feel that would be a good thing. In the meantime, if i want to waste my time talking in these forums, expressing opinions which may not be popular, getting shot down, etc. then i will do so. Not everyone is out to "kill the site" as you put it. Some are actually trying to help by pointing out things which may not be obvious or may be overlooked by the ptb in the day to day activities
