Steve Best wishes!!!! I too was just laid off from a company I was attached too- for 2 years and 8 months-oddly enough. It's extra hard when you put so much of yourself in a company. I was far from alone and one of the cofounders of the company was also laid off- THAT made NO sense! Your being laid off makes no sense either!!! Ironically, before that I was living in Scotts Valley a few blocks from the olde MetaCreations Building. I was in Santa Cruz until then as well. Thanks for all your efforts!!!! I enjoyed meeting you and sharing my art with you- 3, 4 years ago at MacWorld SF. I hope you are able to find a great job My suggestion is to go over to Natural Bridges for a late afternoon walk- watch the sunset- then go to a fabulous dinner at the O'mei on Mission Street.
