With the economy in its present state, I would not be counting on DAZ to come to the rescue. Who knows they may have put thier new software on hold. If the good ole USA goes to war, and gasoline prices go to 5.00 bucks a gallon, DAZ may have a hard time selling anything for 1.99. Not that I am spreading Doom and Gloom, but it could happen. Its just not a could time to be spending money. Face it people, we are talking about affordable low end 3d-software that has seen it biggest growth with Hobbist, not pro/commerical/artist.
