- IMHO, DAZ would be foolishly spending its money to purchase Poser solely for the purpose of being able to use the Poser Proprietary File Formats. * Although that is correct so far as the current format version is concerned, acquiring some rights may still be a wise move for DAZ as it would allow them to further extend the file format to add new features, and use the extended format as 'native' in their own app without concerns regarding Intellectual Property rights.
