This site has been discussed before. I never found anything that successfully read .3dmf after extensive looking except for some relatively expensive things. If someone is able to convert these buildings it would be nice if we could all share somehow, rather than each person downloading the Meshbox trial and each doing all the conversion work separately. Such a redistribution might be technically a breach of copyright, but the net effect would be the same as if a completely legal procedure was followed.
