A clear cut missive would foster a sense of harmony, cooperation and perhaps even accelerate the rate at which you acheive your goals, if you would share them. We really are not as stupid as some would like to think. A lot of this contention can be eased with a bit of forethought and explanation. What exactly is the missive of this site? it's long term and short term goals? How are they to be achieved?
