I once worked at a place like this from the scientists side. IF POSSIBLE strike up a conversation with one of the scientists. See what type of experiences they have had. ALSO don't forget to photograph the exterior of the building and the entrance way to your sleeping area. Picts of people doing what they do to spend the time. Pics of the food. See if you can get a recipe of it. Pics of the lab people doing their jobs. This can definitely be an interesting experience if you approach it from the correct direction. Congrats.
