I've only finished 4 pics enough to post here, but I've been fairly lucky with comments and views, I guess. One thing I've tried a couple of time is to re-crop my thumbnail images to emphasize different elements of the image - One I even tried just using a miniature of the whole pic as the thumb. A few words of exposition with each image seems to encourage participation by the viewers. And what day and time of week seems to have a big effect as well. Weekends there's tons more posts, but a lot more browsers, to. One last thing - I've also tried IM-ing the creators of some of the products and freebies when i use them, and often they show their appreciation for the courtesy by posting a remark as well. Kind of silly, I guess, but I really enjoy seeing the # of views and comments go up in my gallery. Motivating.
