I paint on templates in PhotoShop but in Deep Paint 3D you actually load the .obj file and paint on that. It saves the texture out in the same form as the normal template so you can edit it further in other apps like Photoshop. Deep Paint 3D has got to be one of the best 3D painting apps I;ve ever used.
