I think men perhaps take a more proprietary interest in Mr. Johnson. Frankly though, I've never known anyone who went so far as to have a special name for their manhood. Willy, Johnson etc. are simply euphemisms. Of course, some would say "it" has a head and a mind of its own ans is perhaps deserving of such status. There're certainly an equal number of colloquial names for the vagina. Not being privy to the private conversations of women, I don't know waht terms they use. I think in the more reserved era of the fifties, something like "um, you know, down there" was prevelant. Today, who knows? I'd probably blush listening in on the girl's locker room.
