Not only that, but almost all "educational merchants" have a strict policy against reselling to others (who are almost certainly non-students) since you have to prove your own student status to buy through them. Just look at Creation Engine for a typical example of what you have to go through to buy a discounted student version. Egads! Get a student ID? Send in a scan of it with your order? However, they sell a minty-fresh version of Poser 5 with unique serial number for $199 to anyone who can prove their student status. I wouldn't touch this transaction, but your mileage may vary.
